Our Company History
May 1956
Established company in Japan as the name of Seiko Plastic Industries Co., Ltd. pursuant to incorporation of enterprise. Capital amount JPY1 million.
Oct. 1956
Started production of chemical pumps and valves using rigid polyvinyl chloride.
Aug. 1957
Started a full-scale design and manufacture of chemical equipment using plastic materials, as well as production of chemical fans and scrubbers.
Dec. 1963
Changed its trade name to Sekisui Chemical Engineering & Machinery, Ltd.
June 1968
Changed its trade name to Seikow Chemical Engineering & Machinery, Ltd.
Mar. 1969
Terminated product sales agreement with Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. and started to manufacture and sell products with “Seikow” brand.
Feb. 1976
Changed its brand name from “Seikow” to “TEXEL”.
Apr. 1979
Started sales of corrosion-resistant magnetic pumps.
Feb. 1982
Acquired factory space in Futami Coastal Industrial Park, Japan.
Sep. 1989
Completed Akashi Factory at 15-3 Minamifutami, Futami-cho, Akashi City, Japan.
May 2002
Obtained international standard ISO9001 certification (Year 2000 version), regarding quality management system of corrosion-resistant pumps and corrosion-resistant blower fans.
July 2002
Obtained international standard ISO9001 certification (Year 2000 version), regarding quality management system of exhaust-gas treatment equipment and deodorizing devices.
June 2004
Obtained international standard ISO14001 regarding environmental management system.
Apr. 2007
Established representative office in Shanghai, China.
Mar. 2009
Completed expansion of Akashi Factory, Japan.
Jan. 2010
Established locally-incorporated company in Suzhou, China as the name of Suzhou Seikow Chemical Engineering & Machinery, Ltd.
Nov. 2013
Established locally-incorporated company in Houston, USA as the name of TEXEL– SEIKOW USA.,INC
Oct. 2014
Established locally-incorporated company in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam as the name of TEXEL–SEIKOW VIETNAM CO .,LTD
